Tuesday 21st August 2018 - We left the peace & quiet of Birdwood station to set off for Cable Beach, Broome where we intend to base ourselves for a while. Our site at the camp is a lovely shady spot where you can hear the sea.

Wednesday 22nd August 2018 - Today we have a few chores to do before driving down onto Cable Beach to watch the sunset and the camel tours wandering along the beach before dinner.

Thursday 23rd August 2018 - A bit of a nothing day; so not much to report. Oh! a Green Tree Snake decided to stop for a visit before making its way home to, yes you guessed it a tree beside the caravan.

Friday 24th August 2018 - Today we drove to Gantheaume Point. We walked along the track to the lighthouse that was the home to a huge next for four Osprey chicks. Continued on through the brightly coloured and layered sandstones that made for an interesting sight along the coast line.

Saturday 25th August 2018 - Happy Birthday Mum - Took a drive to Minyirr Nature Reserve and drove along the lovely sandy beach, parked & got out our chairs where we sat for a while soaking up the view.

Pre-dinner drinks at Matso's Home Brewery, that since 1997 is Australia's most remote brewery, then onto Ginreab Thai for dinner.
