Life in Bali has found normal tracks again. After partying the semester's end, island hopping with Arttu and that damn fever/flu/headache/diarrhea -week, I'm now living in Uluwatu. After the hectic life Kuta, this place feels like home again, no traffic, drunk tourists or crap-sellers what so ever. I moved here last sunday and my mate from Kuta Lombok Lukas already had a room here, so we decided to share the room... sometimes Life's just that damn easy here.
The first days here I was still too weak to actually do anything, so mainly I just read my book and took it easy. It is amazing how during my Bali time I have read so many books here and actually found the joy of reading. Maybe because the pace of life here is much more slower than in Finland and I don't even have Internet or TV, which makes the life here so simple. After few days resting here, I was completely healthy again, so it was time do what I do: Time to Surf again. We went to surf to Uluwatu with Lukas and just paddling out there got my famous Bali smile back to my face, catching some waves and I was like reborn again. Surfing again is great as usual, but surfing with a good company is priceless. Unfortunately that one surf was our last surf this week, because Lukas got high fever this time and has been resting the whole week. But nonetheless the life here has returned to the easygoing pace of surfing and enjoying my time here... couldn't ask for more.
Last friday it was time to welcome yet another friend from Finland to the warm and cozy island of Bali, when my friend Hanna-Maria arrived here. After I decided to stay here June also, she booked the flights to Bali, not a bad place to spend her summer vacation! This place where we are living here in Uluwatu is a normal cheap and cozy home stay, the owner is very friendly, so are the neighbours and also got to know some new people during last week, so let's see how long we gonna be stuck here... Peace Out!
