Day 61 - The Tuarts Reserve to Perth (232kms)

We left Tuarts Reserve for the short drive to The Pinnacles. We parked the car and caravan and then followed the walking loop through The Pinnacles. We went to the visitor information then continued on our way to Perth.

We arrived at Queens Grove Caravan Park around 1pm. We got set-up, then had lunch and the kids played in the sand pit. We then decided to drive to Kings Park. Unfortunately Rog got a bit excited driving without the caravan and being in an unfamiliar city we think he got done for speeding. After getting lost we finally arrived at Kings Park. We found our way to the kids nature playground and the kids were just starting to get excited when we were informed that we had to leave as it was closing time.

We were so disappointed so we went for a walk through some of the botanical gardens and to a water fountain. We saw lots of kangaroo paw. We then walked back to the car and drove to the dinosaur park. The kids had lots of fun playing on the equipment and watching the ducks in the pond.

It then started getting late and cold so it was time to drive back to the caravan park for dinner.
