We returned to the cafe this morning to write our travel diaries and then we went to Puzzling World, which has illusion rooms and a maze. The illusion rooms were really good - there were hollograms where the heads follow you as you walk around the room, a room that when you walk through one door it makes you appear really big and then the other side of the room makes you feel really small. There was also another room where everything is on an angle and seems to go against all logic as thre was a pool table where the ball appears to roll upwards on the table instead of downwards which you would expect.
The maze was really good too. It said that it was 1.5k's long but that most people who complete the maze walk 3-5km's. We set ourselves a time limit as we needed to catch a bus and we had to find each of the coloured corners, which was really hard as it was quite compex. It felt like we'd walked a lot by the time were finished.
We then had to rush to the supermarket to pick up items for dinner for our trip to Milford Sounds and Invercargil and then wait for our bus back to Queenstown. We arrived at 4:30pm and checked into Base. Morten had arranged for us to shware with him and Mia. We were really excited to see them again after 3 days and we exchanged big hugs when we got in the room. I then went to see Sarah in her room but she was in the shower so I told the girls to let her know that I was back. Twenty minutes later she knocked on the door ant Morton said that we sounded like mice as we squaled with delight as we hugged. We all caught up and then arranged to head to Fergburger at 7pm.
As we walked down to get our burgers we jumped into John who had been on our origial bus and he came down with us too. We also saw a few other people who had got off the bus at earlier stops. After the mammoth burgers Catherine suggested an ice cream from Patagonia so the girls and I headed off to have their sugar fix.
We wnt to a bar on the waterfront and drank pimms and lemonade thaen because the bar was empty we went to find another one and ended up in a bar that was quite quirky and was full of cider people. There was a screen near where we were sitting which had a whole mixture of songs playing and Catherine and I got up tp dance and got Morten up too. After that the whole group were up and we mopved the table to make a dance floor. Morten said we should do a viceo of us doing the sprinkler dance move as he had been doing that dance move in Greymouth and it was his signature move that we had all been doing ever since and then we could then send it to Dan, so we all did it along to the Kung Fu Fighter track. We had a really good night in there as they played really good tracks to dance along to. At about 1pm we tried to find another place to go to byt when we went down one street we didn't like the music that was playing in the bars and then another place that we'd heard was good was full of 18 year olds so we decided to call it a night and headed back to the hostel.
We had to say goodbye to Sarah and Marius as they were going on a bus the next day to go up north. I was really sad to say goodbye to Sarah especuially but we said that we would definitely meet up in London when she was back as we'd become really good friends. Then I gave Morten and Mia a hug goodbye too as Catherine and I had to get up early to fet a bus and I thoughtt they might not want to get up. I would really miss them both but we said that we'd all do a group trip to New York or go to London or to a music festival in Barcelona. Morton's bed was opposite mine and he made me laugh by mirroring my every move. Then we said goodnight.
