I arrived into Hong Kong at 5am and had to wait just over half an hour for the first buses to start running to take me to my hostel.

We set off for our last journey together to Christchurch. It took us a couple of hours to get there and then everyone had to get off the coach as they were changing buses for the rest of the trip. We had a really early start this morning to get to Geraldine in time to do our white water rafting. We stopped off briefly at Lake Tekapo and took a photo of the Church of the Good Shepherd, which was the first church built and then we arrived at Geraldine, a small and quite pretty town at 11an. I said my goodbyes to Catherine and then went to meet Gemma, Nasreen and Kristina outside Base hostel to get a bus to the north of the south island. Catherine and I headed across the road to book in for our half day of Canyoning. There was a group of 6 girls in total and we arrived at the Queenstown canyon and had to get all geared up. This involved putting wetsuits, life jackets and helmets on. Each of us had an individual name on our helmets to identify us for the photo's that they'd be taking of us.
