I waited outside the hostel at 5:30am for my bus to pick me up for my one day tour to Uluru. The coach had mostly old couples on it and there was about 20 people on the trip. We went to Mataranka Thermal Pool and walked through a rainforest where there were sprinklers going off which made it feel like an authentic rainforest. We had to get up at 5:30am to get to Twin Falls before the sun came over the rocks as we were told we would roast otherwise. The road leading to Twin Falls is a dirt track which was the bumpiest road I've ever travelled along. The 4WD vehicle we were in was definitely tested to the max, as was my stamina as I was thrown around from left to right as we went through waterholes, across mud and rocks.
