Catherine and I headed across the road to book in for our half day of Canyoning. There was a group of 6 girls in total and we arrived at the Queenstown canyon and had to get all geared up. Catherine and I had to check out of our rooms by 10am so that we could move into another to share room together so I had to wake up after only a few hours sleep as I had gone to bed at 4:30am. We arrived at Lake Matheson and did a quick walk to see Mount Cook and Mount Tasman reflected in the water below, which was amazing. We then sat out at the visitor centre enjoying our drinks in the warmth of the sun with an amazing backdrop.
