We woke early but didn't move ourselves with any speed. There's no microwave in our room so couldn't make our own breakfast.
Downstairs in the foyer we found Boomer and a couple we didn't know but got introduced to by Boomer. We checked out the hotel breakfasts and they weren't too badly priced but there was only standard fare much like we usually cook for ourselves so we decided to treat ourselves.
We drove to a local Village Inn for breakfast which was pretty good, a fancy omelette for Pete, eggs benedict for me :-)
Back to the hotel we caught up in some comp stuff including posting yesterday's blog.
We got to the store about midday, it was super busy with the staff run off their feet. We chatted to a lot of people, did some stirring and had a lot of laughs. We went to talks by Larry from reef frenzy, Lemon spoke re his beloved wrasses and Mr Saltwater Tank spoke re QT tanks.
Between the Talks we mostly hung out with Boomer, Lemon, Scott (Orphek) and Veronica & Larry. Jim had an amazing day with a take of $16K!
There was an amazing anniversary cake in honour this year of Lemon.
We all went out to a Japanese/ Chinese restaurant incl Jims staff and the couple who won the tank they raffled today.
Great food, a few drinks and lots of laughs. It was a very good night.
Back at the hotel Pete took some awesome full moon pics.
Jim and Boomer have arranged a behind the scenes tour for us at the local zoo tomorrow so that should be fun. We've arranged to stay here another night so after the zoo there's no hurry to get on the road.
