Another cruisy late start to today for the other two but I woke early and caught the tail end of the Sunrise over the lake.
The Kiwis played Argentina today in the World Cup. I watched it on the iPad, it was a bit shaky for a time there but we won in the end :-) a good start to the tournament.
Once it was over we went to Tal's local LFS which was pretty good and then onto the Renaissance Fair. The traffic queuing to get into the parking lots was insane but we got a pretty good a park near the entrance.
The fair is huge! Loads of stalls for all the lefty stuff, candles, incense etc and themed jewellery, leather apparel, fairy stuff etc etc as well as lots of food stalls many of which had long queues and long waits once you got to the head cos they had to wait for a new batch to come out of the oven. Pete and I had a calzone each after I queued for over half an hour but it was pretty good and surprisingly good value too. Tal and I, after quite the wait but not as long as I he calzone, had a scotch egg each, it was the smallest ever scotch egg with the thinnest layer of sausage meat but ah well ya get ripped off at these things don't ya? The queues for the roasted turkey legs were the longest so we all gave that a miss. We got an awesome kilt stubby holder for Tony.
We got home after seven and there were loads of left overs in the fridge for dinner, nice and easy.
Tanya sucked us into a challenge for breast cancer awareness, we had to put up a dodgy status on FB, Pete chose he had foot fungus which everyone replied to being helpful with remedies lol I posted I used my boobs to get out of a traffic ticket and got very little response as if it was something I do every day lmao
Relaxing evening doing very little.
