We have our first helpex all lined up. We're going to a place called Gatton which is approx 130km West of Brisbane, it's at a farm that is being converted into an educational animal centre for children. The description does state that it is a work in progress and she doesn't like housework, well we figure that it's a farm it's going to be quite muddy and unkempt.

We head off tomorrow and will be meeting Eddie, Abbie's husband,in town and will need to follow him back to the farm, apparently they have had severe rain too and seven of the creeks have flooded over the road and they haven't been able to get out for 2 weeks so in case the water is too high for the car we'll have to leave it on the side of the road, he'll take us the rest of the way in his truck and collect the car when the water subsides.

This sounds like it could be quite a unique experience and one to remember.
