Roger, well done mate!! What you and your friends have done is excellent. It's something that I had always wanted to do but couldn't. I've had a great time looking through the pics and reading the blog.
It was your mum and John who told me about your trip and gave me the website. I saw them on the 19th July at Danielle's 21st. It had been a while since I had seen your mum. John hasn't really changed that much.
It's amazing how things change as we all get older. What you are doing now, what a rush! Bloody excellent!! What you have seen and taken part in. Hey, I'm jealous. Excellent pics. Don't stop!
What you are doing now is a far cry from the little boy who wouldn't go into the dark to get a football.

Hi guys, thanks for the congrats! We're back in Old Sunny D now and looking for work. Its odd to be back, I don't really recommend it!
As for advice for getting work in NZ, it's tricky getting work anywhere at the moment so my only advice would be don't be choosy. Temping agents are probably your best shot. Failing that the Kiwis definately like the personal approach so knocking on a few doors doesn't go amiss. Good luck!
