We headed back towards Lake Wakatipu and drove towards the small town of Glenorchy along the side of the lake, it really was a stunning drive with mountains rising up above the lake. At Glenorchy we walked out around the lagoon and again enjoyed the peaceful surrounding. We then drove back along the lake stopping for lunch at Wilson bay before Steve found a nice little beach to sit and read while Alison headed into Queenstown for some retail therapy.
