Matt and Ant's Travels
We all woke up bright and early hoping for the lovely sunshine we had had all week for Julia's Birthday only to find it was raining and the sky was completely gray! So our plans of taking her to a deserted island for the day were ruined and instead we went off to the tongan beach resort and played boules and learned to juggle thanks to our new friend stewart. It was a pretty good day but slightly dissapointing and so we decided to splash out on a really nice meal in the evening. We decided to go to a restaurant called the dancing rooster and order their biggest lobster on the menu. It turned out that the lady next to us had bought the last one and so instead we all ordered slightly different varieties of seafood. I ordered rock lobster which for those of you that dont know is a kind of small lobster but the meat is a lot tastier I got given four of these with rice and salad for about 12 pounds! Matt had the fish platter which was lovely and yes i did try a bit of everything snapper, mahimahi and tuna which is really good! It was a lovely night and the lady who had ordered the last lobster gave us a whole one to share as she was given two! You can understand why most of the tongans are obese! We definitely celebrated in style that night finishing off in Tongan Bobs for a few cockails!
