(DAY 9)

Kia Ora!

We woke up to a bitterly cold wind and hurried into the showers to warm ourselves up. We left the holiday camp with destination Wanaka in mind; we made quick stops at the bakery and Starbucks before we set off. We pulled up once we saw the 'Wanaka' sign and proceeded to take a number of silly photos while the locals drove past! Our next stop was 'Puzzling World' where we enjoyed a good hour getting lost in the maze before walking around the four different illusion rooms, taking lots of funny photos as we went.

We did a quick food shop to stock up and then found a new place to call home for the night. With some bargain prices we were drawn to Outlet Park - set out of town, right next to Lake Wanaka with amazing views of the mountains. We had a laid back afternoon and caught up with the latest news on Christchurch before having some dinner and chilling out in the campervan.
