Kia Ora!

After a late night trying to catch up on the blog we headed straight back to Global Gossip this morning as, thanks to Off Exploring, our site has been uploading the albums incorrectly. After a couple of hours of trying to right the wrongs, we decided to call it a day and head up to the much talked about Skyline Gondola. When we were buying our tickets we were given the option of going on the Luge - a three wheeled go cart on a concrete track, so we jumped at the chance and decided to have a go. The views from the Gondola ride alone were amazing and only got better once we were further up. We spent 10-15 minutes taking photos of the view before getting on the chair lift and making our way to the start of the Luge where we eagerly jumped in our carts and headed down the hill at full speed! Afterwards we watched a couple of people jump from the 'Ledge Bungy' and then boarded the Gondola to get us back down to the bottom where we decided to have a round of Mini Golf in the beautiful sunshine (Sophie winning) and our second Fergburger in two days - well, we are on holiday!

Once we got back to the campervan we saw that it had a flyer for a new campsite, a two minute drive from town, with better rates than we'd been paying for our previous two nights. We jumped at the chance to save a bit of money and drove straight to 'Q Holiday Park'. We spent the night chilling out in the lounge area which had lovely new leather sofas and watched TV while having a couple of beers!
