(DAY 5)
Kia Ora!
Kie woke up early to speak to his Mum while Sophie snoozed and got the campervan ready for the day's journey. Once 'The Beast' was organised, Sophie went for a shower and waited for Kie to get his bum into gear! We set off at about half 9 and made our way to Pak'n'Save to get stocked up on food and petrol. It took approximately three hours to get from Dunedin to Te Anau and the journey was more enjoyable than the last because the scenery was amazing.
When we arrived in Te Anau we went to the Wildlife Centre which was admission by donation, to which they just asked a minimum of $1. We managed to see some wildlife that we wouldn't get to see otherwise and it was set in a lovely area by the lake. Sometime later we decided to get to a campsite and chose Fiordland Great Views Holiday Park, which is set a little out of town but slightly closer to Milford Sound where we are heading for a day trip tomorrow.
After watching another film in the afternoon, our bellies were ready for some food and we went to the kitchen to cook some pork chops with potatoes and beans. Yum! Once we were full we got back into our camper and played some card games.
