Woke up really early, took a taxi to the airport and lounged a bit prior to our 7AM flight.
The business class flight was uneventful, and after 2.5 hours we landed in Bucharest airport.
30 minutes later we were past immigration and with our luggage on a taxi to the hotel.
We checked in at 11:30 AM and got upgraded to an Executive room with lounge access and breakfast due to our Marriott Gold card.
After a quick freshening up and lounging, we headed to the National museum of contemporary art, located next to the Parliament building.
The museum (10 Lei entrance ticket) was nice.
The weather in Bucharest was hot, VERY hot - 37 degrees Centigrade.
We went back to the hotel, freshened up again and headed to the lounge for more sweets and food.
In the evening, we walked to Izvor Metro station and took the train to the Sun Plaza mall, where we did some shopping and took a taxi back to the hotel for some more lounging and then a good night sleep.
