After a rather noisy night sleep, we started off the day with a good breakfast and a visit to Tineretului park, its lovely theme park, and the Bellu Catholic cemetery.We then returned to the hotel, freshened ourselves up and went on a private tour to the Romanian Athenaeum, which is a wonderful concert hall.We then continued to Herăstrău parc, strolled by the beautiful lake and went to the other side of town to see the Romanian Patriarchal cathedral, which was lovely.We returned to the hotel, freshened up again, went to the Club lounge for some pre-dinner snacks (food, actually), and then went to do some MAJOR shopping at the AFI shopping mall.We returned to the hotel around midnight (took a cab, as the Metro was out for the night), and went to the bar to have a couple of soft drinks. Yay. :)
