Today was much chillier than yesterday.
We woke up at 9:00, had breakfast, bought an all-day public transport ticket and headed to the Prague castle region by tram.
We visited the Royal gardens, the castle itself and the Vitus cathedral and then headed to see Strahov monastary, which was lovely, but rather expensive (and partially closed).
We then continued to the Prague funicular, which was a short ride uphill. We wandered about in the nice park on top of the hill, saw the observatory, admired the view, and went half the way downhill, where we read there's a good restaurant. We ended up having a late lunch (ok, I guess) and paying pennies for a beautiful view.
We then went on to visit a couple of churches (on of which already closed) and then continued to Kampa island and Charles bridge.
We then took a metro back to the hotel and now we're lounging a bit, before going to dinner in two hours. :)
Tomorrow is our last half-day in Prague and we intend to visit a
wonderful castle north of the town, have a late check-out and take a
limo to the airport.:)
