Experiencing strange breakfasts at present, this morning it was fried rice and noodles. I am suffering from a bit of narcolepsy with the jet lag, I had to have 2 hours sleep after breakfast.
Today we went to the lake gardens which are not far from our hotel, but we only discovered the short cut on the way back a bit of a trek getting there. It seems like the hottest day yet, so we enjoyed some shaded walking and warm breezes under trees and pagodas. It was the emptiest park I have ever been to, there were perhaps another 3 or 4 couples and the park staff in a huge area. We did notice that the female park staff were hard at work while the men were asleep under the trees!
There were lots of themed areas - herb garden, oasis garden and a japanese garden. We haven't eaten lunch today - too hot. This evening we are heading out to the Petronas Towers again to get some photos of them lit up.
