Thanks for the messages. Keep them coming. We have been in Pattaya on a whistle-stop tour and have not had much time to blog. Our travels have now taken us by bus from Pattaya (where I got my best haircut ever - £2 - neck massage, cut, powder, Cold towel and ear/brow shave!) to bustling Bangkok. We took a Baht Bus (basically a small open truck with 2 bench rear seats and hand grabs!) to the Coach station then an a/c bus (£2.20) the 120km to Bangkok..... Sweet j...

Had great day in Pattaya - breakfast at the beach! with our Man Steve!! He took us out an showed us the sights (of which ther are many). We checked out several bars and enjoyed beers and diet cokes.... aplenty! Off tonight for seafood and Thai fare - cannot wait.... more later... ps. Happy Birthday Maxx! Update - we went off for a great meal Asian/Thai and a few sherberts... tried a few bars ranging from the quiet sea front bar overlooking the bay at Pattaya thru...

Hi - quick summary of our trip from SihanoukVille via Koh Kong (Cambodia) over the border and Had Lek/Trat (Thailand) thru to Pattaya! Got up06:30 and bus-pick-up was a no-show. We took tuk-tuk to bus station and caught 08:15 coach/bus to Border. Nice front/top seats for the 4.5 hr drive. We went from SV via National Route4 (a 2 lane b-road!) and went thru paddy fields/mangroves/over rivers/thru hills/mountains and forests - awesome 200km+ trip! Stopped for snack...
