Well folks - this is it - the final blog! After 24 hotels, 10 flights, 20,550 miles, 200+ mosquito bites and 4 umbrellas (all Sheryl's)! We have used plane, train, bus, bemo, coach, tuk-tuk, becak, motorbike, van, taxi, trishaw, boat, longboat, cable car, funicular, ferry and of course - our legs! We took 10,124 photos, we had just 4 days illness - all mine, we scaled 3 volcanoes and trekked 3 rainforests. Saw wild Orang Utans, crocodiles, eagles, macaques, silve...

Hi - we took the local 1RM (20p) bus to the 12RM (£2.40) coach and crawled the 140km to KL in the 50s coach! We are now in KL! We grabbed an Asian (noodle) lunch as we arrived at 2pm. We then went and saw 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' at 'Premiere' in a small cinema in Times Square KL - £2.50 each!!! Film was in English and fun... now it is coffee time as we blog and post - then a cheap Indian at Brickfields then off to KLIA for our 2am Emirates flight... Wi...

Quick update as our laptop has given up the will to live! Flew back from Kuching to our favourite KL, stayed over night in Brickfields and headed out during a very busy Aidilfitri / Hari Raya (end of Ramadan) to Melaka. Try and update you when we can.

We flew from Bali to KL in 3hrs and took the bus to Sentral. Got a great room at Sentral Hotel with wifi and all the bells. Grabbed a longed for Indian veg. meal and 3 drinks for under £4. Then a lovely sleep. Up early and grabbed canai rotis (banana) with dahl and curry for breakfast .. aaaah ..memories of SriLanka again (with sweet tea) for less than £2. We had a wash and brush up (I had a £2 haircut with massage and neck shave) then bus from Sentral to KL L...

Happy Father's Day to the Dads!Today we went to Bukit Nanas rainforest, which is a rainforest at the foot of the KL Menara tower in the centre of KL. 11 hectares of rainforest preserved for you to trek about for free.
