Yesterday we took a day trip to Kampot - an old French colonnial town near the south coast of Cambodia about an hour and a half drive east from Sihanoukville. The journey was exciting - another freezing cold air-conditioned bus. Lots of swerving to avoid hitting dogs, cattle and overtaking traffic. Hi again! We have relaxed for 2 days or so and today walked around 6-7km to Wat Leu. It is the highest point for miles with views all about and was amazing. The walk took us through town and out up the hill, with Motos aplenty! When we reached Wat Leu we saw a Buddhist temple (see the amazing photos!!), a local cemetery, a massive temple, plus monkeys galore! Hi - from SihanoukVille, Cambodia. We have had 2 days relaxing at a neat little Aussie hotel/bar (Coolabah) in SV.Awesome service here from day 1 - great food and fine hosts (we even came 2nd in the weekly Quiz monday - with our team 'mixed nuts' including American and Russian team members!). The last of the temples yesterday - Roluos a group of 3 main temples, Bakong, Preah Ko and Lolei. These were very old and so not as well preserved as some others we have seen (some good photos though). At Lolei, there was a working Buddhist monastery and school on site and I was stopped by the teacher who wanted to practise his english with me. He explained that he hadn't been to university as (unlike the UK) it was very expensive and only the rich can afford it....

We Had an early breakfast - I had banana pancakes with honey..yum! and Sheryl had fruit salad - colurful, tasty and healthy! Then we went exploring.
