Hi there. Roared laughing at the last post. Eyeing up the rump steak and belly pork! I am in awe of the two of you for that climb. Particularly when I see the photos of the creepy crawlies. I would have flew down the mountain at the sight of them. Keep up the good work! Love Jan xx

That beach!!!!!!!!! On a wet and miserable Saturday I am not sure that it cheered me up or made me depressed lol. At least I can say that in exactly 4 weeks time our plane will be landing in Turkey. Yayyyyyyyy! Thank you for the Sherpa Anderson photo - love the look on Paul's face.. looks like one of those photos taken of intrepid explorers of a bygone age! Take care... Jan xx

Hi u two. Your blog about the volcanoe was brill. You are both getting to see some really amazing sights. Have just finished my two week hols with Neil. was lovely we just chilled out, went for days out and generally just enjoyed ourselves. went far to quick though, don't know where the time goes. Am on a serious diet now, as we did quite a bit of outdoor activities whilst we are out and am now in the zone for exercise. Looking forward to catching up with everyone now, and hopefully work won't be too bad! Was OK but very hectic when I broke up. Can't wait to catch up with you both. take care. love Ang and Neil xxx

Loved the post about the Batik... Sheryl's vodka finger even works in the Far East! You go girl! I did note the salad with the chilli. Latest photos impressive! Coming to the end of our week off. Noooooooo. We have mostly stayed local and tried to make the most of a few sunny days. Even did some DIY which is an unusual event for me and Brian lol. Visited the new museum in Liverpool which is fab but was sooo busy. Will go back in the autumn. Perhaps a museum day out with a spot of lunch - a long lunch so we can hear as much about your travels as possible!! Love Jan x

Well the train trip sounds much better than the one I did with John in Vietnam! Weather good here this weekend so I've been cutting down a rhter thorny rose bush in the garden. The meal sounds good. How long are you staing in Bali?

Hi - just got back from a week cycling in Northumberland with Louise. Not quite as impressive as Angkor Wat...
Quite an epic trek you are both having. I love the stunning photos and Sheryl's pithy comments . Mum and dad are avidly following your adventures. I'll see if I can get them to post a message.
