So after 2 days in Mexico city we have decided to head south to Oaxaca so we will share with you what we have learned so far!!!

Mexicans love to beep their horns!!!!doesn't matter if it's justified or not!!

a red light does not mean that you have to stop driving....in fact you are free to drive on, go against traffic or anything else really that takes your fancy....and if there is a police car there...don't worry about it...they will not do anything!!!!

a little green man only means cross the road if you are looking left and right constantly...as you have no idea where the traffic is going to come from!!!

Mexicans LOVE tequila...and there is no time to early to have a shot...or 8 in Shanes case!!!!:)...and when it's free who are we to say no!!!

Mexico City used to be an island!!!!....so now all the buildings are slanted due to the ground subsiding....it's not just dodgy builders!

You do not need gyms in Mexico City as the pyramids provide a more than adequate work out!!!

Mexican food is awesome...and not that spicy...yet!!...and a lovely meal for 2 last night set us back 20euro.....shocking!!!

Following on from that mole is lovely!!!It's a sauce made with chocolate...that you then cook meat in....yum!!!Every girls dream!!!

So we are off to our new location in the morning...after we master the metro here 1st!!!fingers crossed that all goes smoothly then we are onto the bus for 6 hours....can't wait!!!:)
