Panajachel was our next destination so we decided to be adventurous and take the local chicken buses there. For the bus to Antigua we treated ourselves to the first class service....this involved seats that reclined to almost beds....although the bus had a few hairy moments...including a random crash into something in the middle of the night..we did manage a decent sleep.
