After a quick 30min boat journey we made it to Caye Caulker. It's a small island compared to San Pedro, with all sandy streets. We decided to take on the Caribbean way of life here and just chill and do as little as possible. The highlight of the island must be the ´Lazy Lizard´ a bar built on the split of the island which was created by the last large hurricane. It is a bar on the water's edge with tables and chairs in the sea to just chill and sunbathe with a drink.....what more could anyone ask for??!!

At night the local's fish for large fish like barracuda, which use the split as a highway through the island, we were also told that hammerhead sharks pass though at night, so no night swimming then!!

Breakfast most mornings has been cinnamon rolls, they make them good here!!!We also had some lovely dinners here, lobster or fresh fish with the local coconut rice & sides all for under 10e....nice!!!

We managed to have a few drinks here as well...seemed rude not too....so the next stop for us is mainland Belize.
