last day in Huaraz
Our last day in our house really felt like it. We rose up to the final dismantling of the house and later our room. I'm sure it's not usual but we put the sheets in to wash, put the mattress on the wall and started taking the bed apart. We helped Dirk with a few things and agreed to meet up with him for a coffee at midday.
We had a lot to achieve before then, Sarah had to run a few errands including another attempt to get her dress fixed (take 3) and I had to get some music and drop off some photos to school. We rushed to meet Dirk for a 'coffee' and a few hours later I had to run to make it back to school to pick up the USB stick. Those hours were filled with great conversation with our former Dutch host, each of the locally brewed beers from where we were and lunch. It made a fun afternoon. We finished our jobs and headed out for a final dinner with Favi, followed by a beer with Jack, a friend from couch surfing.
A quick walk back up the hill to grab our things and we finished a long say with a night bus to Trijillo, another adventure to come.
