Today we did a proper walk- not just normal walking but TRAMPING!
We tramped the moonlight trail which got very high up, had brilliant views and drops over the side which left Steve shouting"don't look" and "come away from the edge" and "get your backpack on straight- this is no time for messing around".
It was great and we walked for 3 hours including our packed lunch.
We met 4 girls on a bike ride coming the other direction. Well to be honest they were taking their bikes for a walk as riding was dead scary. And that was all- the whole time.
The walks are not like the lake district with sign posts and public rights of way or even mapped out really- you seem to just go for it
We saw a canyon swing on the other side of the canyon but steve managed to look without needing a Cornetto. We have noticed that we are taking heights in our stride now since we mastered the ski lift and are finding gondolas a peice of cake. I think Steve is dead worried I will move on to fancying a go at bungie jumping.
Steve has just said he has written a blog too so it will be interesting to compare stories

Samantha "this is no time to be meshing about" ha ha ha, your blogs make my day every day. Keep it up. Ps, sal, please do a bungee and film every second.....I'd love to see your face and steves. Those heights sound terrifying to me, where's doughy when you need him?
