Driving a campervan in nz
This is fun, if you consider it as an adventure sport.
The rules are
1. Stay on the road
Deal with adverse cambers, hairpin bends, single lane bridges, landslides, crosswinds and roadworks with almost non existant traffic management.
2. Ignore all external distractions
Deal with awesome scenery, the convoy building up behind and the huge timber wagon on your bumper trying to build up max speed before the next hill.
3. Learn to enjoy and laugh about the vintage van you hired.
Deal with the doors in the back flying open at random, the lack of power going up hill, the gear box worn to a circle not a H but the best of all, no power stearing (gives the turning circle of a super tanker).
The consequence of failing this game is however a little bit extreme.
Shear drops, 40t+ wagons and lots of trees are to be avoided at all costs.
WE ARE HAVING SUCH FUN
