funny how things turn out.
Brian was not quite what we expected but we are now excellent at escaping and he thinks we have headed off to Arthurs Pass as he told us to- this will send the posse in the wrong direction. Brian will not be able to keep this or anything else we told him a secret.
We went to Hanmer Springs and had a lovely meal on the way. We relaxed in hot natural springs and the day was lovely. Driving the 'campervan' is interesting. Steve has got the gears sorted but the clutch is tricky. I can do the clutch but can't get 3rd gear. We are sharing the driving and the cab is very comfortable.
We are parked up in a tree lined site and have closed down the hatches cause we are being chased by insects and birds. Its all very natural here. Steve made a lovely tea and we have begun the 'how much wine/ beer should we have before tomorrow morning is ruined game.
On reflection prison life can be fun when it is pretending and a camper van?- will decide tomorrow.
