After leaving Bangkok late we arrived Hua Hin at around 4.30pm, we met an English guy who had a Thai wife on the bus and they helped us look for some accomodation. Once again we struggled to find anything, first of all due to it being the weekend and secondly Chinese New Year. After around an hour of searching we found a hotel which was slightly over budget but was worth it.
Hua Hin is definatley more for holiday makers than travellers, because of this the prices had increased by quite a bit. There is also a huge fat, old, German presence so a lot of things were cattered for them which was a bit annoying.
The beach is nice though, its around 3 miles long and the water is very warm. Brad wasn't a great fan of the beach due to the amount of tourists and people offering you horse rides, ice creams, clothes and massages. These were a bit of a pester but Ross went and sat on a big rock in the sea and read a book whilst Brad went home for the swimming pool lol. After a full day on the beach for Ross and half for Brads somehow lil brother managed to burn his back and chest pretty bad.
We then walked up to the train station and booked our ticket to move further South to a place called Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park for the morning.
Later on that evening we had dinner and watched Liverpool beat Chelsea 1-0 which was nice to see, soon after we walked back to the hotel where we got ambushed by ladyboys. Brad felt slightly intimidated/sickened by this but to be fair there are lots more than we expected lol. We managed to get back to hotel in 1 piece and went straight to bed.
