No dolphins - think I'm cursed! First they stood us up in the Bay of Islands and now Bunbury!! Still, we set off for Margaret River and soon were rewarded by patience after a stop off at Cape Naturaliste where we spotted whales off the coast. Completely amazing and really pleased we saw them. They were mainly humpbacks but there are blue whales in this area so we will keep our eyes peeled for the next few days for them! We also stopped off in Busselton which sports the longest timber piled jetty in the southern hemisphere (I'd like to see the longest in the world now!). It was 1.84 kilometres long and is 145 years old! It also had an underwater observatory at the end of it! Another quick stop off for the 'pink' tinged Canal rocks (hmm) and we are now at the hostel at Margaret River and our looking forward to our wineries tour tomorrow!
