We drove back to Perth and on to Cottesloe beach to check out Duffy's new beachside apartment. We stopped en route at Yancep lagoon for Ian to have a dip in the Indian ocean, which is no where near as warm as it sounds! We got to cottesloe in good time for the Ireland vs Italy qualifier and some good fish and chips on the beach front. Duffy and Sarah (as well as a few other mates!) met us at the bar for a bit of a celebration of the result of the match and discussion of the next stages! We then went back to Duffy's apartment for a lovely meal cooked for us by Sarah and a bottle (or three) of west Australian red. Great night! Thanks guys!!
