An important ride took place on Wednesday last, October 13th. John, Peter Judith, Ruth and Rosemary set off for the Lord Whisky Sanctuary at Rhodes Minnis. Partly to obtain a good lunch bur also to arrange the Ragstone Xmas lunch. Setting off from Bed rock the group were meeting up with John in Brabourne. Rosemary decided to take a slightly different route and met up with everyone at the foot of Stowting Hill. From there we cycled over the top and down into Lyminge before tackling Woodland road and another hill, to finally arrive at the Lord Whisky. The usual splendid lunch was served and although they were rushed off their feet( 42 lunches that day we were told) we had time to discuss the Xmas celebration.

They have agreed to serve lunch to 20 Ragstones on Wednesday Decmber 8th. This will be typical Xmas fare including turkey with a choice of Xmas pudding or homemade tiramisu. Peter will send round, to ask all the usual suspects if they want to come.

We were delighted to find that Martin and Emmanuelle could join us for lunch and Rosemary speedily arrranged lift home for herslef. The others took a more roundabout route home.
