We made the return trip OK at high speed as the rain was unpleasant. However, we were well fuelled with rabbit and pheasant hot pot and copius quantities of red wine, so it was all just a blur! Bedrock was a welcome sight.

Bumped into 3 intrepid cyclists as they took refuge at the compasses pub follwoing a downpour of rain.It appears they just had time to squeeze in a spot of lunch whilst waiting for their clothes to dry by the enticing log burner !! Well done - hope you enjoyed your ride home!
