Ragstones Riders
First ride of the new blog
The temperature and work commitments conspired to deter all but two hardy Ragstones to venture out in sub-zero temperatures. Ruth and Peter cycled sometimes, but othertimes walked, over sheets of ice, along some of the less well used lanes of Brabourne.
It was a slow ride and the Farrier's Arms was the target for lunch at 12.30. It has been renovated and is in pristine condition - and very, very busy. After some deliberation, the hungry cyclists and Ruth's son Richard who just happened to be free for lunch, were served with beautifully presented food.
And then, it was time for a short ride back to base. Just 20 miles in all, but what a ride, slither and walk to be remembered!
