Last night and tonight we are at a park between Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour. We travelled from Rollingstone and called at Bowen on the way. Found a great site at Bowen for future stops. Most of the trip was through cane fields and veggie fields.

Airlie Beach is not all that impressive with all the takeaway food outlets and backpackers everywhere but we had to have a look. Shute Harbour looks good but there is nothing to do unless you want to take a boat ride out to the resort islands.

Tomorrow we are heading inland back to Capella to catch up with friends for 3 nights before heading south.
