I'm so sorry it has been so long since I posted a blog. I'll start with where I left off in my last blog. So much has been going on, but at the same time not much has happened!

Well, I was getting pretty sick a while back and insomnia was sending me insane, so I went to get it checked out and found out I had a severe iron deficiency. I am feeling loads better now, and hopefully have things under control, but it wasn't very pleasant for a good while. Not being able to sleep was of some benefit as it enabled me to watch all the rugby world cup games without any problem! Was very disappointed that England didn't win, but hey. Life must go on. And it still is. I'm working a lot more now. Have 2 jobs working with adults with intellectual disabilities which keeps me busy Mon-Friday and then unless I do respite shifts, the weekends are my own.

Amy and her sister left for New Zealand a month ago and so the flat is pretty quiet. It's been strange without her around and I miss her not being here. I got sick again a few weeks ago, and had tonsillitis and had to take antibiotics, but they were good in making me feel better.

The weather has been a bit unpredictable lately with a week-long rain storm and now some beautiful sunshine. I'm making the most of it when it's sunny and hitting the beaches for a swim. Have had a few nights out recently, but things have been relatively dull,with me just working in the week and having a night out at the weekend! With me not feeling well or having much money of late, the timing was ok though!

This week just gone, saw my brother's birthday which was hard for me not to be there. Had a good chat on the phone though. Then, this weekend was a biggie. It saw my birthday, Alana's wedding and the big election where the new prime minister Kevin Rudd was elected and John Howard was defeated. I have had an alcohol-fuelled weekend, and loved going to the wedding on my birthday. Really missed everyone from back home though, but I was treated to a surprise birthday breakfast by Katrina and some friends.

At present I am unable to access any e mails in my Hotmail account as I can't log in and have now been blocked. This has been a problem for a couple of weeks now and is driving me mad. I am trying to sort out with them, but so far I've been getting nowhere. I'll keep you up to date with what happens.

I'm sure there's stuff that I've missed, but it can't be that important! I promise to be a better blog keeper from now on! xx
