Happy New Year! Just a quick blog entry.

Christmas was lovely, pretty chilled with some good food! Me and Kat's family went over to her aunty's place and drank Guiness and champagne cocktails and lots of champagne! I had a snorkel set off Kat's parents, which will get lots of use!

After relaxing on Boxing Day Kat and I drove up to Coffs Harbour to visit Sally who just moved there. Our friend Lisa also came up to meet us for the night as she was nearby with her family for Christmas. It was great to see Sally and meet her parents who were lovely. The drive up was so long! A lot of traffic! We went out on the evenings and went to different beaches swimming in the day. We resisted the temptation to go and see Vanilla Ice perform at the local bar! The drive back wasn't too bad.

Since then I've hit the beach with my trusty snorkel, as the weather has brightened up! Then there was New Year's Eve. It seemed the whole of Sydney wanted to watch the fireworks and people were out at 6am guarding spots to get a good view! I went to a place near Kirribilli/ Milsons Point to a small wharf. It was great. Everyone had a lovely time and again, the champagne was flowing freely! The fireworks were beautiful. The bridge was totally lit up.

The night ended with a quick trip to Central police station as Tiff's bag had been handed in there. We had spent 2 hours looking for it, so we were happy to go and collect it!
