We hit the road after going shopping but we were still pretty tired from the trip last night. We set off to Napier which as it turns out was going to take about three and a half hours so instead we opted to stop on a random campsite to spend the evening and enjoy the sunshine.

Having done pretty much nothing yesterday it was time to actually get to Napier. We have decided to stay in mostly Hostelling International hostels in the USA/Canada , so we purchased a card here as they were offering a free nights stay with the membership. We found a decent campsite just of of town and booked onto a "Hawkes Bay" wine tour for tomorrow.
