Nice and early start today as I was diving, 6am wake ups are never fun... But diving is so it's super worth it! Made myself a hearty omelette and hopped on my bike and drove down to the dive shop, I overheard one of the instructors say they were waiting for Jacqui from spicy, I said I knew her so rode back up to find her, she'd overslept by accident so I gave her a lift down so she didn't miss the boat, we hopped on the long tail boat which took us to the dive boat, after a short (very very choppy) journey we were at the first dive site so me and Nat jumped in and got underwater as quick as we could to get under the surface swell, we went down to 30 metres which was so cool! We cracked open and egg and the pressure makes the yolk stay whole so we played about with that for a bit and then he pulled out a packet of cookies, firstly it was rock hard and the pressure crushed the air in the packet and also all the colours had changed due to the low light effecting the colour spectrum, we then hopped on the boat for our surface time and got back in the water about an hour and a half later where we then did the wreck dive which was my favourite so far, they brought an old naval ship out here and sunk it for diving purposes, did a few swim throughs of the cabin and hallways, was amazing! Checked out the guns and views from the portholes, it was so, so freaking good. We then headed back to land where we cleaned all our gear and filled in my dive log, I then hung about the shop abit with Nat chatting the other instructors about diving, then headed back to spicy and had a nap in the hammock, when I woke up I was super hungry so drove to the pier and got some sticky rice and meat sticks, super tasty, ended up watching the Lone Ranger and having another nap... When I woke people had started playing drinking games so I joined I with one beer for a game, I was still super drained so headed back to the decking where I then got trapped as a kitten fell asleep on me... Listened to chillis for the rest of the evening and called it quits as I'm up early again for morning jobs, diving again tomorrow, pumped!!
