We woke fairly early for a change and decided to make the most of it by nabbing a hearty breakfast which consisted of omelette and bacon then jump in the sea for a Mod swimming, it was chiller than before as it had been overcast for a few days so no sun to warm the island waters, still, warmer than back home! After the swim and a quick shower at Fubar hostel we repacked and checked out, nabbed some lunch at a little local place for cheap as per and collected our bags before setting off to the travel agent to pick up out taxi/boat/bus/train tickets!
We hopped on the taxi which took us to the harbour where we got on the boat where after about 3 hours it got us to the mainland where we got straight on the couch for an hours journey to the train station, once there I wanted to check our tickets were ok, I don't know why, just an instinct I guess.. Thank lord I did as the travel agent all our other tickets for the correct day but our train ticket for the following day... Geniuses... After about half an hour arguing with station staff and them saying we would have to cancel our ticket at a 50% refund and buy new tickets which we didn't want to do, as this would cost more money.. We managed to find the phone number for the travel agent and after a lengthy phone all between the agent and staff we got our ticket changed for free, phew. We got on the night train sometime after midnight as it was late and located our beds which we work damn hard to get! Needless to say, someone was in them... By this point we were so drained we hopped in 2 beds near by and just slept there, they were surprisingly clean and comfortable, I shoved some ear plugs in and had a descent night sleep, all in all with a little fuss involved our Koh pan-Ngan to Bangkok travel had gone fairly well!
