Was up bright and breezy as had to be at the dive school for 9am! Made myself an omelette to get me through the morning and then Shane and I hopped on the bike and we cruised down to the dive shop, we had another quick theory lesson and then had our theory exam, I managed to pass with a 46/50, keen. After the exam I went back to spicy and chilled out for an hour and then headed back to SCD nabbing a sandwich on route, when everyone was there we grabbed all our dive gear and hopped on a taxi to the boat, got on the boat and within about 30 mins we were at the dive site where we got suited up and after a quick check were all in the water and on our way to 12m down for our first day! When we got to the bottom we went over some quick skills again and then went for a swim around the coral and reefs checking out all the wild life. We were diving for about 40 minutes before we surfaced where we then did some more surface skills before heading to the boat, ate some fruit and had a warm drink as we had a short journey to dive site 2, we got our gear on again followed by safety checks and then straight back in the water, we descended to the bottom again where we then did a few more skills followed by a swim of the area, we managed to see a sting ray this time round, that was pretty sweet! Plus some amazing coral and a ton of other wild life! We then got back ok the boat after another 40 minute dive and started making our way back to the harbour, once back on land and at the dive school we cleaned all our gear out and made our way back to spicy, I was exhausted by this point so had a nap in a hammock and then after a quick snack decided to call it a night, diving has by far been one of the best things I've ever done on my life. Highly recommend to anyone!
