We had an early start today. We caught the tram into Bern at 8 ready to catch the train to Murren in the mountains. We had to catch a variety of trains and cable cars to reach our final destination as it is high up in the Swiss mountains where there are no cars as its to steep to get them up. Our guest house was directly across the road from the train station which was very handy. After lunch we decided to walk to Allemdumebal a hike of about 3 hours. It was wonderful but unfortunately visibility was terrible as the clouds were low so we couldn't see the Eiger or Jungenfrau. We stopped half way and bought a cuppa at a cafe and some chips which were superb. On the way up we stopped at a playground and took turns on the flying fox. A really good one. We went to a local hotel for dinner. It is very expensive to eat here but the food was good.
