We woke this morning to magnificent views of the mountains that had been covered in cloud the day before. The dun was shining. We started the day with breakfast at our guest house. It was a good way to start the day. Our plan for today was to hike for about 2 1/5 hours to a place called Birg which is about 2/3 of the way up a mountain called Schilthorn. We had an early start today. We caught the tram into Bern at 8 ready to catch the train to Murren in the mountains. We had to catch a variety of trains and cable cars to reach our final destination as it is high up in the Swiss mountains where there are no cars as its to steep to get them up.
