Well we left Amsterdam, deciding last minute to head to London, €200 later for our train ticket we were on our way, it was approx 6 hours on the train and we came out of the tunnel to typical British weather, cold and wet.... We didn't have a hotel booked so we loaded our backpacks on and started out on foot from kings cross station to find somewhere, I regretted not having booked somewhere when my feet were soaked and I was freezing wondering the streets of London in the dark trying to find somewhere reasonably priced lol. We stumbled across a lovely hotel that was £99 a night including breaky. I was glad to be warm and indoors. We went for a short walk to find something to eat and was excited to see our first double decker buses and red phone boxes :). We found subway and got a sub each and headed back to the hotel
