We found a cheap hotel in an area close to where our tours will be leaving from in Pimlico so we packed up early and made our way to the underground where we caught a train to our new hotel the Corbigoe, we were really dubious about the quality of hotel it was as it had some differing reviews on trip advisor but when we arrived the Pakistani owner was very welcoming and after pronouncing how much he loved Australians allowed us to check in early and gave us a room downstairs so we didn't have to carry our big bags upstairs :). The room was tiny and we had to climb over ourselves but for £288 for the week it was quiet, warm and the bathroom was clean, bed was comfy and that's all we needed. We headed out once we got settled and got back on our bus to go and see the Tower of London. Besides it drizzling and being cold it was a great day out, the tower has such a fascinating colourful history, the museum was excellent and getting to see Henry the VIII's armour was a real thrill. It took a lot longer to see everything there then unexpected it too so it was the only thing we got to do today. Oh we'll tomorrow is another day.
