Finally got to St Paul's cathedral today, it's such an amazingly beautiful cathedral, it takes your breath away. The ceiling murals are just magnificent in all their golden splendour, it's probably a good thing I couldn't take photos as I would have used a whole memory card. It's hard to believe that's where Diana was married but I understand why that cathedral was chosen as it was just beautiful. We then headed to Westminster Abbey, not as beautiful as St Paul's but certainly has lots of history inside with notable people from all the centuries being buried within the confines of the abbey including, Darwin. We then headed back to Charing Cross to see if we could get some discounted theatre tickets, we were able to score some wicked tickets for that night at half the normal price. We had to motor back to the hotel to get showered and changed and luckily the theatre was a short walk from the hotel. What a tremendous show and an absolute treat to see a west end show in London and one that I've been wanting to see for some time.
