Today we are leaving Zurich its a shame we didn't get out and see much but the weather was really horrendous and we just need to get going again. We went and put our stuff in the locker at the train station so we could at least have a quick look at the old town which was really pretty even in the rain and I took this time to buy some weather proof shoes. Today was a rest day as it was rainy and cold and we wanted to stay indoors as my shoes are not equipped for this weather so a rest day it was.

We got up early today and the nice lady at the B&B offered to drive us to the train station, (we love the swiss) on the way she learnt we didn't get a chance to see Montreaux so she took us on a quick tour showing us the castle in the lake, the casino and also the Freddy Mercury statue (thats where he spent the end of his life) its such a pretty spot and I would like to go back. We spent today just taking a walk around Lake Geneva. It's a beautiful spot surrounded by snowy mountains and a pristine lake in the middle. The water was so crystal clear. There were some mad people swimming laps in the freezing cold water. We spent today travelling from Nice to Geneva. We left Nice at 1130 and arrived in Geneva at 8pm. After getting off the train and being a little lost we found our way to our hotel. It felt very dodgy in the lane ways and we were glad to have arrived safely.
